Listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage, Lut is the Earth’s 27th largest desert. Expect riding some of the tallest dunes on earth; as high as 400m; and seeing unbelievable landscape of salt flats, sinkholes, canyons and lava. The hottest land surface temperature of 70 c was also recorded in Lut but don’t sweat it as your rides will be air-conditioned top of the range 4×4 cars. Every morning starts with freshly cooked breakfast in the camp followed by some hiking before leaving to the next stop.

Day 1
Arrival at IKA airport in Tehran. Transfer to the hotel for overnight stay and chilling evening.
Day 2
- Transfer to Mehrabad airport, fly to Kerman.
- Meet the safari team at Kerman airport.
- Start your journey to Lut.
- Arrive in Lut after a long drive.
- Be prepared for your first dinner under the starry sky and staying in tents.
Day 3
- Whole day expedition in Lut, Melek Mohammad hill, Central sinkhole
- Overnight camp in Dasht-e-Yalan (mega dunes)
Day 4
- Progressing to the amazing Star dunes for more discovery
- Star dunes camp
Day 5
- Leaving to town of Shahdad
- Visiting Zaban-e-mar (snake tongue) canyon and Kaloots
Day 6
- Heading to Gandom Berian (roasted wheat) to see lava covered flats.
- Overnight camp
Day 7
- Returning to Kerman airport for your flight to Tehran
- Arriving in Tehran, transfer to the hotel
- Free time activity can be arranged
Day 8
Transfer to IKA airport for Departure

You’ll be sleeping in tents and although sleeping bags can be provided but we recommend you bring your own. Desert nights could be as cold as zero or less at times so a sleeping bag and warm clothes could become very handy.
